Duties Include:

• LPNs collect information from incoming residents that includes medical records and insurance specifics needed for admission.
• Documenting residents' health information, like vitals and temperature, is a key function of LPNs.
• LPNs play a crucial role in administering medications and injections to residents as needed.
• Treatment and dressing of wounds and bedsores as needed are essential components of the care provided by LPNs.
• LPNs must provide supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants as stipulated.
• LPNs aiding residents in tasks related to dressing and personal hygiene.
• LPNs have the responsibility of monitoring the residents' food and liquid intake while keeping tabs on their output levels.

Requirements:

• Need for a legitimate State LPN license to practice nursing.
